Family story closed
in small and fragile objects: tiles, dishes and figurines

The manufactory in Nieborów is founded in 1881 by its owner, Prince Michał Piotr Radziwiłł, as the Artistic Faience and Tile Kiln Factory. After more than a century, in 2017, the Radziwill family took over the patronage of the factory again, wanting to create a unique collection of ceramic objects following the example of their great-grandfather. Traditional technologies and historical forms are used in production. Each object, as in the past, is stamped with the factory mark from the time of Michael Peter ( MPR under the ducal mitre est. 1881) and signed with the initials of contemporary makers.

Manufacturing process

The entire production process in our manufactory is carried out by hand - starting with moulding in clay or porcelain, through the application of ceramic glaze and ending with decoration in majolica or gold. The unique advantage of this production method is the individual and unique appearance of each piece.
